About Nova Barcelona

NOVA Barcelona was founded by Cristina García and Lorin May, two serial entrepreneurs with a shared passion for making everyday life in Barcelona easier, smoother, and more enjoyable. We first teamed up in 2022 while building Spain’s leading platform for booking kids’ activities and quickly realized how much we love creating services that truly support people.

As a Barcelona native, Cristina brings deep local knowledge, a background in law and customer success, and an expert understanding of Spanish bureaucracy. Lorin, originally from the U.S., offers an international perspective shaped by living and working in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Spain, along with experience in business and technology. Together, we combine local insight with global perspective - and we’re fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan.

Having relocated multiple times ourselves, we know firsthand the uncertainty, stress, and excitement that come with moving to a new country or city. That’s why we created NOVA Barcelona: to offer tailored relocation, legal and concierge services that provide clarity, ease, and confidence at every step. From finding your ideal home and navigating administrative paperwork, to offering legal guidance and managing daily tasks, we’re here to make the transition seamless.
